Thursday, November 18th from 6-7 pm - Art Talk on Ansel Adams: Early Works.  “A Lyrical Vision: The Early Work of Ansel Adams and the Crossroads of Modernism”. Presentation by Professor James Swensen, BYU.

Park City, Utah - Kimball Art Center announces the launch of the exhibit, Ansel Adams: Early Works in the Main Gallery from November 6, 2010 - January 9, 2011. Much less familiar are these intimate prints, rich in middle tones, which Adams crafted earlier in his career. This collection of photos has never been shown in Utah and focuses on the masterful small-scale prints made by Adams from the 1920′s into the 1950′s
