Our Native Brothers in Black and White - Fort Duchesne, UT

A couple years ago I went to the Fort Duchesne Pow wow with my wife and good friend Tavis Johnson. I brought with me my Hasselblad 500 CM, 80mm 2.8 lens and some Kodak Tri-X 400. I was eager to make a few black and white portraits. I’ve always had a great respect for the culture and honestly have been a little jealous of the sense of brotherhood they have. Some of them were kind enough to let me photograph them in their traditional dance attire. Very impressive. Here are a few.
